Hi there! Welcome to Kindness Flowers! Growing cut flowers has been my thing since 2018. I got started while living on a goat farm in Gastonia, North Carolina. In the fall of 2022, we bought a place in Lincolnton, NC and have been busy building new flower beds all over our property. The first 5 years I focused mostly on annual cut flowers and now that we have our own property, I’m adding perennials, bulbs and woody stems to my offerings.

My love for plants and gardening began in my young adult life. I’ve worked at several garden centers and florists and as a professional gardener in Colorado during which I obtained my Master Gardener certificate. Now that I am back in NC where I grew up, it seems I am treading in the footsteps of my grandmother who loved farming, flowers and owned a flower shop! It’s in my blood, and what I would give to have her with me now.

I grow it all without the use of pesticides and focus on building a healthy foundation through my soil. I strive to use sustainable farming practices such as no-till and have an ever growing interest in regenerative soil health. I support our native pollinators and beneficial organisms so they help me do the work of creating a balanced ecosystem in the garden. I do everything as naturally as possible to provide you with a beautiful and quality local product.

This year, I’m focusing on my seasonal subscription orders and design orders for weddings and parties, but there is more that I offer and the possibilities are endless. You’ll find more info under the Services tab. Call me and let’s get creative together!
